Rookie Blue has been picked up for a second season! HUZZAH!!

Missy Peregrym will also be making an appearance on the TV show Lopez Tonight on July 13th at 11:00pm Eastern.

Yes, indeed. Season 2 will be there! When shooting for the next season will start is not known, but Eric Johnson (Det. Luke) thinks it'll likely be next month.

I also don't know how many eps have been commissioned, but I'm sure there will be some info on that soon. If I find it, I'll let you know. There'll probably be a thread about it in the news section then, I think.

Also, in case there are any Dutch fans reading this: Look for Rookie Blue on the fall line-up of Net5. Great to see a major Dutch station jump on this show. It'll likely mean a lot of new Rookie Blue fans and a lot of Missy fans, hopefully

This is one of the few shows that actually doesn't see its ratings crash when I start watching, or didn't have great ratings to start with
